The room and bathroom were good, and it’s an extremely quiet spot for unwinding. There’s nothing going on nearby, not even a café, and there’s no WiFi. The TV was tiny, only had TDT, and wasn’t working. Reception is in Alter, 3 km from the house.

The room was excellent and everything was very clean. I enjoyed staying in a typically Alentejo-style house, though there’s no breakfast. Check-in is at the restaurant in Arter do chão, while the accommodation is in the neighboring village, about 1-2 km away.
