A morning run through the countryside showed us some beautiful Mediterranean scenery, though we mostly stayed in recharge mode at Horta da Lameira. We’d only planned one night with our Mercedes Sprinter campervan and two dogs, then stayed longer because the calm setting and warm welcome were so hard to leave. Tiago and Mary made us feel at home, and their adorable dog was a bonus. The other guests were friendly and easygoing too. We enjoyed exploring the spacious grounds with our dogs, and cooling off with cold drinks by the pool on warm spring days. Breakfast, all homemade, was a real treat. We stayed in the camper, but the B&B looked lovely as well. The garden would make a beautiful place for a retreat, wedding, or birthday. Everything felt peaceful and thoughtfully cared for. We left refreshed, wishing we could have stayed longer. Thank you for everything!

The orange and olive trees, animals, pool, and surrounding nature made our three days at Horta da Lameira wonderfully relaxing. It was very quiet, just right for getting away for a few days. We stayed in our campervan, and Mary and Tiago were lovely hosts who helped us with everything we needed. We ordered breakfast and it was incredibly tasty. We enjoyed every part of the stay and would recommend the place whether you're camping or choosing one of the beautiful rooms. Mary also makes beautiful jewellery ✨
We spent a few days at Mary and Tiago's lovely place, where the kids could play outside all day and enjoy seeing the farm animals. It's quiet, restorative, and a long way from the busy cities. I worked from the house library, and the WiFi held up well for conference calls. Evora is a lovely city to visit on a day trip.

There was plenty of room on the estate, and we had a lovely time using their camper spots. Our children, aged 2 and 4, enjoyed the play equipment, games, and petting the animals. Mary and Tiago were so helpful and hospitable, and Mary makes jewellery that's hard to resist. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.
