The place is clean and spacious, with a garden, an outdoor jacuzzi, and nature all around. One drawback is the apartments upstairs have wooden floors. We stayed for two days, and when neighbors arrived on the second day, we could hear every step. Also, getting into the house may be difficult for anyone with mobility problems.

The village is lovely and welcoming, and it's worth taking a walk to understand why people call it the “mushroom place.” We had a great weekend, and the jacuzzi quickly became a must, although one of its hydromassage jets wasn't working. We were also lucky to have a wonderful local host who apparently visits the guests regularly. It was a very affectionate, friendly cat!

I was looking for a place to stay around Varzea, Candemil, Amarante and came across this fantastic spot. It's tidy and modern, with the option to relax and use the jacuzzi. Five stars.

The location is the one issue. Check the area carefully and sort out parking before you arrive, because the streets are so narrow that maneuvering is a real struggle. We got our car stuck while looking for a spot and weren't sure we'd get it out. Apart from that, it's a wonderful, pleasant place, simple but beautiful.

The room and jacuzzi have a phenomenal view, and the place is well kept. The host was friendly and available, and the village residents were warm and welcoming. It's a great spot for relaxing with your loved ones in an isolated village. There's a picnic area and river beach about a 10-minute walk away. We had a great experience and would come again.
