The room was modern and lovely, and the whole place was really quiet. We liked the setup: the key was left for us, and breakfast was in the room with a small fridge. We could take it out to the veranda the next day and eat whenever we wanted. Amarante is 5 km away and easy to reach by car, though you do need one.
We slept really well, the bed was very comfortable and the room felt cosy. The owner was so welcoming, and she left plenty of things for breakfast the next morning. Just a perfect place.
The room had plenty of space and was tidied up nicely, and the lady was friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely, quiet spot if you want to get away from the bustle and rest. For breakfast there was a mini fridge, kettle and toaster, plus bread, fruit, juice, milk, honey, jam, butter, cheese and a 5L bottle of water. There was tableware in the room too. The one thing we found inconvenient was having no sink or detergent to wash it, so we had to improvise.
The manager was very friendly, and breakfast was fairly complete, kept in the room’s fridge. The photos don’t really show how spacious the room and bathroom are, and the terrace was just right for a quiet dinner. It’s somewhat remote in the mountains, which is exactly why it feels so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended.
Everything was very clean, and the price felt fair. The woman who greeted us the night we arrived was really kind. Being surrounded by nature made it peaceful and relaxing, and there was everything we needed for a hearty, tasty breakfast. We could even have it outside in the garden.
