The owner is superb, and everything was more than clean. Breakfast was great, with fresh homemade cake and plenty more. Surrounded by woods and fresh air, it’s a wonderful place to spend a night or even a week, and get away from a polluted place like Lisbon. Highly recommended.

Maria was the best host. She helped us figure out meals, getting around, sightseeing ideas, and even transportation. I’m so grateful to her. Try the homemade cakes and cookies, and the fresh grapes from her courtyard too!

We had such a pleasant surprise here. The hosts were lovely and made us a delicious breakfast: homemade chocolate cookies and eggs one day, then apple cake and fresh raspberries the next. The saying by the entrance is right, you arrive as guests and leave as friends. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a great bed and shower, plus a fridge and TV. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there’s a shared kitchen area with everything you’d need to cook. You can also walk to the coin caves in about 15-20 minutes. We’ll definitely come back.

There’s a shared area with a TV and kitchen. It’s a nice guesthouse, but you’ll want a car, since the nearest restaurant is 25 minutes away and Fatima is 30 minutes away.
