We had a fantastic stay and found it easy to walk to places around Angra. To explore the whole island, you’ll probably need to rent a car, though getting here by bus from Praia do Victoria (Ferry terminal) is fairly easy. Check the No 2 schedule and plan around it. The staff were a big help. They arranged an inexpensive rental car for a couple of days and gave us good tips for restaurants in town and things to do around the island. There was plenty of local information in the common room, including pamphlets and hiking trail leaflets. Lockers were provided, and the washrooms were clean and convenient. Breakfast was included, small and nothing fancy, but it did the job. The place is small, so breakfast could feel cramped when everyone was there.

A relaxed spot to rest, right in central Angra and at an affordable price. The people serving guests are very attentive, and the rooms are cleaned daily. There’s an equipped kitchen too. I really liked it and recommend staying here, whether you’re visiting on holiday or for work. I’ll be back to this hostel again. Top place, highly recommended.

Karina at reception made our stay feel special and unforgettable. She was so friendly and attentive, suggested places to see and typical restaurants around the island, and told us local things about Terceira. She cleaned our room every day, replaced our towels and left a bottle of water. Better than a five-star hotel! We’re very grateful to her. The hostel was spotless, and the location was fantastic for getting around on foot or catching a bus.

Affordable and pleasant, with very friendly staff who helped me find a cheap rental car. My only complaint is the skylight in the single room. Rain and wind come through enough to make sleeping difficult.
