The heated pool was exactly what we wanted after a day out exploring, and the views are stunning. The property has more than you need, with roomy, light-filled rooms and comfortable furniture. It was spotless when we arrived. Elvio showed us around and pointed out useful things nearby, like shops and restaurants. Communication with Mandy and Elvio was great, and we’ll book this property again for our next Madeira holiday.

The village is welcoming, the scenery is breathtaking, and the views are amazing. It’s a great place to stay for exploring or going for walks, and the family villa has everything you need and more. Our first visit to Madeira was made even better by our stay at Hillside Villa. We’ll definitely return. Obrigado

I’d never watched the sun set over the ocean from bed before, and it was amazing. It felt like living like a millionaire without spending much. The Housewatchers were so friendly and nearby whenever we needed them, but gave us space otherwise. After this stay, I don’t think we’ll take another hotel holiday.
