We had a lovely, welcoming stay, and the hosts were helpful and nice to chat with. The modern property had everything we needed to cook, plus a garden area for eating and a nice pool. It’s about a five-minute drive to Calheta and around 30 minutes to Funchal. The hill down to the property is steep, as other reviews say. It may be steeper than the roads you’re used to at home, but you get used to it and it’s good practice for driving around Madeira. We’d suggest renting a small car, since parking can be tricky both here and around Madeira in general. Thanks to you both for a great stay. We’d highly recommend the place.

The apartment had everything we needed, and the swimming pool was a nice way to cool off. We also loved the sunset area, garden, and beautiful surroundings. It’s a perfect place to enjoy nature and some quiet. We were nervous about the parking at first, but after a few days we felt more confident and had no trouble.

We stumbled on this place and ended up spending the last 14 days there. Steffi and Alex have cultivated a little paradise, with a wonderful mix of plants in the garden and a pool overlooking the sea. The sunset cabinet with its rocking chair was a wonderful experience. The facilities are new and in good condition, and Steffi and Alex are genuinely friendly hosts who helped us feel completely relaxed. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The garden was wonderful, and all the equipment was there, including an outdoor pool. It has everything you could want for a truly relaxing time in Madeira. What a gem among the banana plantations. Thank you, Steffi and Alex, for being such welcoming hosts.

The sunset lounge is a lovely spot to wind down at the end of the day, and the pool makes the stay even better. The apartments are beautiful and the views are stunning. I definitely recommend it.
