We only lasted 30 minutes in the house before we had to find somewhere else, which was difficult during high season. The conditions felt unhealthy because of the mold, and the house needs both refreshing and mold removal. I don’t think it’s suitable to rent in its current state. The agent’s communication was unprofessional. We first asked for a partial refund, but there was no discussion of a compromise. This was the worst thing that happened to us in Madeira.
