I had a fantastic four-week stay at Quinta da Imaculada. Owners Sameiro and João Morant were so helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The dogs Duck and Farraca and the cats Andreia and Sara made the stay feel complete. I'll miss them. The area and Arcos de Valdevez are well worth visiting. You can walk or cycle for hours without meeting anyone. Peneda-Gerês National Park is a must-see too, along with places like Peneda, Soajo, and Sistelo. Ponte de Lima is also worth a visit, with its toy museum and large antique and vintage market on the second Sunday of each month. I hope to book another stay at Quinta da Imaculada. Sameiro and João, obrigado e até logo.

We felt like we were on holiday, but just as comfortable as at home. The welcome was warm, and we were looked after throughout our stay. The atmosphere is family-like, and it had everything we needed, so we'd come back. The location is convenient: you can walk to the center for all the services, reach the river, and follow the ecovia along it.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the place itself is lovely and welcoming. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it 😊

We'll definitely come back. It's a cozy little house, and the owner is super charming. There's a nice walk by the river nearby, plus the municipal swimming pool.
