Hazel’s cottage has everything you need to settle in and unwind, and her care for the house really shows in the details. She was always ready to help, while giving us space, so it was reassuring to know the hosts were nearby if needed. My wife and I spent a few relaxing days there, enjoying the peaceful view and beautiful surroundings. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather. Hazel, thank you for making our first trip to Bela so wonderful. You deserve all the praise for your hard work and attention to detail.

The house is in a remote spot on the mountainside, but Hazel’s directions made it easy to find. It was peaceful, with a fantastic valley view, including the sunset. The place was thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything we needed to feel at home, and it was very clean. We couldn’t try the pool because it was too cold. Hazel was friendly, quick to respond, and easy to reach. Check-in went smoothly too: we arrived late on a cold, rainy evening, and she’d already lit the fireplace, so the house was warm and cosy. We had a great stay and would gladly return. One tip: don’t drive forward into the steep, narrow entrance. Your clutch may not thank you for the tricky reverse back out :D

The house had all we needed, and having a pool of our own was great. The setting is amazing, with stunning views and so much peace and quiet. Hazel was a wonderful host. We’ll definitely come back!

There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Hazel was friendly and clearly cares about making the house a lovely holiday home. The views were out of this world, and it was an ideal base for exploring Arganil and the surrounding area.
