The hosts made our stay feel especially welcoming with their warmth and attentiveness. Casa de São Miguel is spotless and thoughtfully equipped, with comfortable bedrooms and a kitchen that has everything you need. The outdoor areas, especially the pool and terrace, are great for unwinding, and the vineyard views are stunning. The house has been beautifully restored, keeping its traditional Douro character while adding modern comfort. I had a wonderful, peaceful stay and highly recommend it.

The outdoor space was a highlight, perfect for spending time together by day or at sunset. It’s a peaceful location, but still close to the things to explore in the region. We had a fantastic weekend full of laughs and great memories. Casa de São Miguel in Armamar is spacious, very comfortable, and really well equipped for a group of friends. I can honestly give it a full 100% rating. I’d happily return and recommend it.

We came with friends for a weekend to relax in the Douro, and it was even better than we expected. The rooms are cosy and up to date, but my favourite part was waking to the birds and walking around the property. We’ll be back.

I’d been here for a wedding before, then returned for a getaway with friends. Everything surpassed what I expected, and the stay was perfect. I was really sad to leave and will definitely come back.

A lovely place to clear your head and connect with the interior of Portugal. I’ll come back.
