We were welcomed warmly, slept well, and found everything clean. Breakfast was simple but enough. For the price, you can’t ask for more. I’d stay again!

We loved our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was great. Breakfast was excellent for a three-star hotel. We stayed two nights, and they had already come to clean and change the linens after the first one. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout.

The people were friendly, but some things fell short. I understand that with so few guests at that time, they might not be able to turn on the central heating. Still, the small oil heater in the room barely warmed it. The TV service had a problem and didn’t work. Breakfast was provided at one of their bakeries, but the bread was stale and moldy, and they wouldn’t accept card payment. I also had to go withdraw cash to pay for both the stay and dinner.

This was my second visit to this small hotel in northern Portugal. I love how peaceful it feels. It was wonderful again, from the cleanliness and quiet to the breakfast.

I've stayed here five times now. It's a modest hotel, but the staff are excellent and friendly, the rooms are decent for Vila de Armamar, and breakfast has plenty of choice. The prices are good too.
