The garden and house at Casa de Mondo are lovely places to unwind, with Mondo's sculptures, curious little corners, and a big swimming pool. I visited in May 2026 during a retreat in Algarve and joined a group cooking activity. We spent the afternoon making and sharing a three-course traditional Portuguese meal. Harriet and Mondo, along with the chef, made it feel warm and relaxed, with plenty of stories and laughs. The ingredients and food were incredible, and the wine was very generous too. When I'm back in Algarve, I'd definitely book a room and spend more time with these wonderful hosts.

We stayed two nights, and the room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a handy little kitchen space for making drinks and snacks. We added the continental breakfast, which looked lovely and tasted just as good. There was so much that we didn't eat again until after 8pm. Harriett and Mondo were so friendly and welcoming, and took time to chat with us. Thanks for the hospitality, Harriett and Mondo! x

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and useful things like plates and glasses, and the house itself is lovely. The garden and pool make for a really relaxing setting. Henriette and Mundo were such friendly, welcoming hosts, and Henriette sent us ideas for things to do nearby. We also had tapas one evening, a full homemade meal for just 30 euros per person. Definitely worth trying. Highly recommend this place.

We felt right at home with the hosts, who are warm, interesting people. Casa de Mondo is a great spot to get away from the crowds while still being close to the beach and places to visit. The swimming pool is lovely, and there's a hot tub too. The wifi worked really well for getting work done. We'll definitely come back. Thanks so much, Hariette and Mondo, you're the best!

The grounds are full of little things to discover, and there's an outdoor whirlpool and BBQ area too. The nature around it is beautiful. Harriet, Mondo and the family are so welcoming, and the rooms feel new, clean, and nicely furnished. It's a special place near plenty of attractions but tucked away from the busy tourist spots. You should stay here. ❤️🏄♂️🙏
