The quiet surroundings and mountain view made this a lovely spot for a romantic break. The neighbors were friendly, always waving good morning or good evening. The new stone house has beautiful Scandinavian decor and feels really cozy. We'll definitely return!

We already want to return, even though we haven't left yet! The rooms are spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, and the facilities are wonderful. Joana is warm and easy to reach, which made the stay even better. We felt right at home. It's a great base for the Passadiços do Paiva and other activities, or you can just unwind by the pool. A little paradise only an hour from Porto!

Breakfast was served at a time that suited us, and it was really pleasant. There's also a guest lounge with a TV. The place is quiet and the room was very spacious. I'd recommend it.

We enjoyed the fresh, homemade local products at breakfast, and the house is close to Arouca's center, where we tried convent sweets on the city's terraces. Its location is also handy for the region's natural sights, including the Passadiços do Paiva. The house is lovely, with charming rustic touches alongside modern comforts, and you can see the care in the decor and all the little details. Claudia gave us a warm welcome. From the start, we felt at ease, almost like we were home. It's a peaceful, welcoming place to rest and get away from everyday stress. We highly recommend Casa Vieira Lobo and hope to return soon. A memorable stay!

A car is needed to reach Arouca, the nearest town, which is about 7-8 minutes away. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and made everything easy. The spacious room, pool, and garden make this a lovely place to switch off.
