The drive from Lisbon along the N119/N251 is lovely in its own right, gradually opening up the Alentejo scenery. I'd choose that route over the slightly quicker toll roads. My girlfriend and I stayed a couple of nights at the start of December, and the whole visit was fantastic. The classic caravan felt cozy, fun, and nostalgic to me, and put us close to nature. We caught gorgeous sunsets and beautiful sunrises there. Five stars from both of us for the caravan, the welcome, the service, the setting, the nature, all of it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed in our little tent for three days and two nights, surrounded by beautiful skies for stargazing, stunning sunrises, and amazing sunsets. There was loads of peace and privacy, and we saw so many animals. The pool and bathrooms stayed spotless, and the showers were lovely and warm. We also found the other guests polite and friendly, and got a great welcome from really nice people. We loved every minute and can't wait to return.

A brilliant place for birdwatching and dark skies, and the nearby town is just a five-minute drive for food supplies, or twenty minutes by bike. We spent three nights here in early May 2024 and wished we could have stayed longer. It feels like wild camping, but with all the comforts, and nature lovers will be right at home. The site runs on solar power and its own water supply. The friendly, engaging couple who own it are happy to share good tips about local activities and attractions. Water supply limits the number of guests, so book ahead.

For anyone who enjoys quiet and nature, this place is highly recommended. A few walking routes lead to Vimieiro, a small, sleepy town with some nice little restaurants. The owners are delightful and have created an admirable, eco-friendly campsite. They know plenty about nature and more. Set amid seemingly endless open space, the site limits the number of pitches, which are generous and make it feel like camping in the wild. Everything, including the pool, is well maintained and fits into the landscape. One of the best campsites we've visited.

We came across this campsite by chance and ended up not wanting to leave. Everything is kept with care by the very friendly owners, and the facilities are outstanding. Since it's far from everything, you get to experience nature up close. The sunsets and the sounds of animals and the outdoors make it feel special. They source their own water and electricity, which gets you thinking about what you use, though there's always enough. Can't wait to come back.
