Casa Do Platano

The view here is perfect, and the staff are warm and caring. They welcomed us and treated us like family. Didn't want to go out to a restaurant for dinner? They made a meal happen for us by the pool. A place I'd come back to!

The view of Castillo de Arraiolos from our room was amazing. It was a small room, but comfortable, and the staff were great. They served a delicious breakfast with cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread, local sweets, and tea or coffee. It was nearly 32 degrees when we visited toward the end of June, so the small, pleasant pool was great for cooling off. The room could have been cooler. We opened the second-floor balcony door to catch the evening and night breeze, but then we could hear people talking at the restaurant across the street, cars passing, and dogs barking. With the window shut, the street noise was blocked very well.

Maria is great, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. It's a neat little hotel, decorated nicely throughout, and the breakfast was lovely, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Don't miss this place.

Casa do Platano is a cosy, beautiful spot right in the centre of the village. The rooms were very clean, with lovely views, and breakfast was very good. There's a private pool too, and the staff were friendly. Thanks for a great stay.
