The location worked well, with plenty to do within walking distance, and I’ve stayed in both better and worse places. The staff were very nice. Parking isn’t normally available, and you have to reserve a spot separately from the room, which may not be obvious while booking. The elevator was tiny and a bit janky, though that’s not unusual. The bathroom smelled like sewer at first, but the smell went away after both showers had been used. My guess is that the room had been empty and water had evaporated from the drain, letting the smell come back up. The shower also drained poorly and overflowed from the spray. In general, this was somewhere between the best and worst places I’ve stayed.

We had a great stay and would happily come back. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and it was perfectly placed for exploring the area.

I agree with the other review that the receptionist was very helpful and the room was okay, but it was extremely noisy. You could hear everything in the hallways and even what was happening in the next room. There was also a bad smell in the rooms, probably from the bathroom. Getting there means climbing a hill, and there’s no lift, so you have to climb stairs too. There’s no AC either. Smelly rooms and no AC in summer make for a horrible nightmare.

A really bad stay. The bathroom smelled, the shower was broken, the pillows were small, and there were no water glasses in the room. The person at reception behaved badly too.
