Just perfect.

The house has a good amount of space, with a bathroom in every bedroom. The pool and games room were fun for the kids. It's a shame, because the place has a lot of potential, but several things made our stay disappointing. Before we arrived, the owner sent lots of rules, which were also posted on the walls. There was even a price list for dishes that might be broken by accident, and it made us feel uncomfortable. The cleaning was poor: visible cobwebs, a very dirty oven, and glass bottles left in the bin. A bedside lamp didn't work, and the shower door wouldn't close properly. Most of the pool loungers were torn, dirty and in very bad shape. There weren't enough kitchen utensils for the number of guests, including cutlery, and although there was an oven, there were no oven dishes to use. Basic supplies were missing too: no rubbish bags or salt, and only two toilet rolls per room for a week. Work was being done in one of the houses halfway through the week, making noise that morning. We left feeling the spaces had been neglected and badly maintained. With a bit more care and attention, this could have been a really positive experience.

The owners were friendly, and the games room and pool were good. It was a very quiet place. The houses could use more modern furniture, but what was there was acceptable.

The heated pool was a welcome bonus, though I would've liked the water another degree or two warmer. The games area was fun too. Everything else was excellent, from the house and cleanliness to D. Antónia's kindness. We'll definitely return.
