Quiet and restful, Monte das Aranhas was just the Alentejo escape I wanted. Vineyards and nature surround the property, and there’s a real sense of privacy. The houses are cozy, nicely decorated, and equipped for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed capturing the atmosphere and sharing it on my page as a guest and content creator. The vineyards are gorgeous, and the whole stay felt like a chance to relax and reconnect with nature. A few friends and I stayed at the country house, and from making the reservation right through checkout, everything was superb. The accommodation was clean, very comfortable, and ready for our arrival. Monte das Aranhas made us feel welcome and safe, which mattered a lot to us. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and enjoying this beautiful place. Thanks for receiving us so warmly!

Just sublime. The scenery is breathtaking, the accommodation is first class, and Carlos Felipe Terenas was spectacularly hospitable. If you’re going to Portugal, this place is a MUST!

We’re definitely coming back. D. Henriqueta was so attentive, and we’re especially grateful for the Alentejo bread! We stayed in March, when it wasn’t very warm, but still managed to enjoy the outdoor space. There’s a main house and a smaller adjoining one, each with room for six people. The main house has a huge living room that works really well for a group. There are heaters and air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, two wood-burning stoves with firewood ready, and two bathrooms, one of them inside a bedroom. Breakfast is brought each morning, along with anything else we needed.
