Art Home Apartments I

The room was clean, the bed was good, and the location was great. But there are 39 steps up, with no handrail on the first 19, so this isn't suitable for seniors. The room was okay, though the microwave didn't work. There were pots, pans and dishes, but no forks, spoons or other utensils, and nothing for drying dishes. The towels were large, but too many basics were missing.

We had to cancel because my partner got sick the night before, even though our reservation didn't permit cancellation or date changes. We contacted them, and they refunded us despite not being required to. They're incredibly kind and understanding people. We're very grateful and will definitely book with them again.

We liked the canal view, the clean, cute place, and the little welcome basket. Shops and restaurants are close, and getting in with a code instead of a receptionist is convenient. The noise was a problem both day and night. The stairs are very steep with suitcases, and our booking was for three but there were only two chairs and two glasses. We also missed a rack for drying towels, a broom for basic cleaning, and more bathroom storage. The kitchen layout makes it easy to bump your head on the cupboards.

A pleasant place in a good location. Nights and mornings were a little noisy, probably from the popular clubs nearby.
