We booked this apartment through Booking and stayed just one night. The bedsheets were wrinkled, which isn't necessarily bad, but didn't feel very welcoming. The place also looked worn throughout, from the floor and walls to the kitchen and furniture, as if it hadn't been properly maintained. The floor and walls were dirty, and the bathroom vents had dust and mold. It was cold on arrival because both AC units were out of order. There were two portable heaters, but they were very noisy and barely warmed the apartment. The owner hadn't even told us the equipment was malfunctioning. Parking was listed as included, then after check-in we were asked to pay €5 a day for it. Pets cost another €10 per day, so be aware of that too. It wasn't a good stay, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Luckily we only stayed one night and spent most of our time visiting the city. There are much better options for the price.

The air conditioners dripped onto our bed, and the TV didn't work at all. They advertise parking, but you have to pay to use the garage, and there's hardly any parking outside. At this price I could have stayed in a fancy hotel closer to the centre. What a disappointment!

After checkout, I got a message saying I'd failed to take a towel. The apartment was so poor quality that I wouldn't have taken one even if it hadn't been, and I would never do that anyway. I definitely don't recommend the place. The bathroom was in terrible shape, and it wasn't possible to take a shower.

The place had a fun shabby chic look, a huge bed, and a great shower. Remote check-in was simple by text, with everything ready for us. The location was great too, just a short walk to a supermarket and to the canals that lead down to the waterfront. I'd recommend it and would stay again if I'm ever in Aveiro.

I wasn't happy with their policy. More than a month before our trip, I told them I had to cancel because the hospital called to say my wife had an appointment for knee surgery just before we were due to go. We'd paid 250€, but they returned only 90€. That doesn't seem fair.
