MS Collection Aveiro Palacete de Valdemouro

The room was spacious and tastefully done, with a very comfortable bed and the softest sheets. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were wonderful and attentive. It’s on a quiet street, just a minute from the centre of Aveiro. A perfect stay, and a standard I’d measure other hotels against.

The spa was amazing, and breakfast was truly great. Daniel and Jose were so welcoming and gave us helpful, enthusiastic tips about the city. They showed us around the hotel and even arranged a special surprise in the room for my boyfriend’s birthday. We had an absolutely exceptional stay at the MS Collection hotel in Aveiro. We’d recommend it 100% and will definitely come back.

At €35 per person, breakfast was absolutely worth it for us. The buffet was generous and beautifully presented, with lots of options, and there was also a personalized à la carte menu where the chef makes dishes you choose. We were visiting the Palacete de Valdemouro Hotel and asked if non-residents could have breakfast. The receptionist was friendly, checked with the restaurant since resident guests naturally come first, and kindly found us a table. While we waited, we sat in the beautiful library, an elegant and relaxing space. In the stunning restaurant, the team were warm, professional and attentive. As non-resident clients, we felt every bit as well treated as hotel guests, if not better. The food was excellent, but the ambience, refined details and impeccable service made it memorable. I’d do it again, and next time in Aveiro it might even be a reason to stay in one of the rooms.

There are no streaming apps or options on the TV, which could be improved. Everything else made this a wonderful five-star stay. We loved the comfortable beds and luxurious linens, the turn-down service, great WiFi, and the warm, professional staff who made us feel right at home. The rooms, food, amenities and service were outstanding. The MS Collection Hotel is a unique, magical boutique five-star hotel, with a Michelin Star Restaurant, an amazing breakfast included with your stay, an outdoor pool with a heated indoor pool below it, and an Award Winning Spa.
