The location is the one clear plus, right in the center and within walking distance of everywhere. Everything else was a problem. The old wooden floor was so loud it felt like the whole building would hear a ghost walking down the hall. The walls are paper thin too, someone at reception might hear you sneeze and say “bless you.” And a shower longer than three minutes leaves water all over the bathroom because it runs out of the tub. I can’t recommend it.

We left and won’t be going back. We couldn’t work out the coffee machine, and when we rang reception several times, nobody answered and there was no staff around to help. The included breakfast was meant to be bread plus a tray of other things in the fridge, according to what they told us at check-in, but there was no bread and the cheese and ham had gone bad. We’d booked with a voucher priced about the same as a night in their best room, so we didn’t know which room we’d get. Ours had a window facing the staircase, and we heard guests clattering up the noisy stairs. The shower had stains in one corner, there was a hole in the toilet room wall from someone opening the door too hard, and nearly all the sockets didn’t work.

Good value for money, and a cozy, comfortable place, though it isn’t luxurious. The reception staff were really clear and helpful. Some of the staff in the breakfast room weren’t very friendly.

Clean hotel in a great location. What else could you ask for? Seems like it was spoiled by people who don’t know how to enjoy themselves.
