Monte do Ramalho

We wanted an outdoor wedding with Alentejo around us and a whole weekend with our closest people. Monte do Ramalho made it happen, and it hosted almost all of our roughly 40 guests. The venue is beautiful, the catering was excellent, and being able to celebrate all weekend made it extra special: barbecue on Friday, the main event on Saturday with a wonderful team and no time limits, then brunch on Sunday. Manuela, Diogo, and everyone on staff were fantastic and tireless. They stayed flexible and did everything they could for a very picky bride. The value for money is hard to beat. The people made our five days with a big group just as memorable as the place itself. Manuela and the team were kind, responsive, and ready to find a solution for anything, even replying to emails within minutes at night. They helped with extra beds and ceremony decorations, cut the grass the way we asked, found more alcohol at the last minute and arranged great bartenders. They were open, respectful, attentive to detail, and always smiling. The breakfasts and picnic were delicious and beautifully presented, and our guests had everything they needed. The setting has so much charm, authenticity, calm, beauty, and character. We traveled around Portugal for two weeks since we didn't know the country well, and didn't find another place with so many of those qualities. We couldn't have picked a better place to get married. We were two French people who didn't speak Portuguese, and our one regret is using an outside wedding planner for some parts instead of working directly with Monte do Ramalho.
