Joseph was such a wonderful host, and it was a real pleasure staying in his home. The room was clean and roomy, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom's beautiful tiles were a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious, and having private parking was handy. Everything was great.

The owners are lovely, and breakfast was generous and plentiful. The garden is nice, though we weren't sure whether guests were meant to use it. Since it's a house rather than a hotel, you can hear every sound, so it may not suit light sleepers. Still, recommended, in a beautiful spot in the middle of Douro valley.

Such a warm, lovely couple. I really liked their home and how hospitable they were, with generous food and everything else. I'll definitely be back.

José and Fatima made us feel very welcome, even inviting us into their living room for a drink after dinner. The internet worked really well there, though the signal wasn't good in our room. The house itself is lovely, with tile-lined walls and beautiful wood floors, stairs, and doors. Our room and bathroom were spacious and had air conditioning. We did find the bed a little small for two big Australians.

A pleasant country B&B house.
