The garden and pool were colorful and beautifully maintained, and the scenery around the property is lovely. Our hosts were kind and wonderful, making the stay comfortable and pleasant. It’s a 20-minute drive to the Douro River and 5 minutes to the local town and supermarket. A really relaxing holiday spot. I’d highly recommend it and hope I can visit again.

The couple running this little place are so nice, and they make you feel as welcome as if you were visiting your grandparents. It has maybe a handful of rooms, all kept up by them. There’s a cozy pool, a garden, space to play, and some good restaurants and wineries nearby. It’s one of the coziest places I’ve been. Like a boutique design hotel, except everything feels real: a very old house with modern amenities and distinctive old style furniture, all perfectly matched in color. Unique and special. We’ll definitely come back!

The couple who run this bed and breakfast are very kind and hospitable. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The grounds are a lovely place to unwind and take in the natural beauty nearby. It’s a great base for exploring Serra Aboboreira, and very good value for the price. I’d be happy to stay again.

The room was spacious and welcoming, with a modern bathroom, a roomy bed, and all the comforts needed. Breakfast was divine, and we were treated to biscoito da Teixeira, a local specialty made from a family recipe. What stayed with me most was the welcome. Sr. Joaquim is an outstanding host, extremely kind and always making guests feel at ease around his large property. The panoramic views are excellent, and the peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and nature make this a great place to relax. The space has been here for a century, bringing together classic, rustic, and contemporary touches. A heartfelt recommendation. Thank you so much, Ilmo. Sr. Joaquim!
