Casa do Escoivo’s owners, Mr Mario and Mrs Lurdes, were so welcoming, and we felt at home. They really know how to look after their guests, and we appreciated that so much. The garden and pool were very well maintained, and diving into the pool with those beautiful mountain views was a highlight. I felt relaxed and welcomed throughout my stay. The hotel itself was excellent, with an amazing view over the mountains. I hope to return and recommend it for an authentic Portuguese countryside holiday.

The hiking trails are close by, and the views are amazing. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casa Do Escoivo. Mario and Maria are very welcoming, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well designed. Can't wait to go back.

A good place to relax, with a pool, mini golf, and other things to help you unwind. The rooms were clean, and the owners were very attentive and friendly.

The best part of Casa do Escoivo is really sr Mário and d. Lurdes. They’re friendly, chatty, communicative, and helpful. They’re the soul of the place and make you feel like part of the family. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and outside there’s a fantastic pool and mini golf. The game room has foosball, chess, dominoes, and more. With a fantastic breakfast too, there’s everything you need for a lovely few days of rest with family. We highly recommend it and hope to return. Thank you so much.

The host puts so much love into this place, making guests feel drawn into its story, and the stay is wonderful and peaceful, only interrupted when it’s time to go home. The grounds are lovingly cared for and feel in harmony with nature. The well-decorated rooms, delicious breakfasts, and pool lookout with its wonderful view stay with you. Congratulations, Sr Mário, for your kindness and availability. We’re sorry we didn’t get to spend time with Sra Lurdes beyond meeting her when we arrived. Maybe next time.
