Quinta do Bosque

We only booked two nights and wished we'd stayed longer. The owners made my husband's birthday feel special with a cake and a few surprises, and their kindness gave the whole visit a luxurious, almost magical feel. The decor, rooms, pool area, and views are all beautiful, and the food was delicious. I'd love to come back. Such a wonderful stay.

The three-course dinners were delicious and so well organized each evening. We stayed a few nights with a friend, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout. Everything was spotless and looked after so well, which puts many other places to shame. Quinta do Bosque is one of the best places I've stayed, maybe the best. We'd both like to return, this time with our partners. Thanks for a lovely visit, and hope to see you again!

The view from our room's balcony was breathtaking, and the pool must be a dream in summer. Breakfast was included and honestly beyond belief. Maria cooks beautifully, with real care in both the food and how it's presented, and the cleaning staff prepared and maintained the room just as thoughtfully. Cristiano was always around for a chat, suggestions, or help. He, Maria, and the rest of the team made the hospitality unlike anything we've experienced before. Without exaggeration, this is the most incredible hotel we've ever stayed in. I can't recommend it enough.

The pool was a little cold, though it still did the job, and the sunbeds are set up in a lovely spot. The gardens' grapes and figs were out of this world, and our room even had handpicked grapes from the estate and port wine. It's spacious, modern, and luxurious, with everything you need. The place is so picturesque and beautifully designed, a perfect romantic getaway. We arrived before check-in and were welcomed warmly and invited to enjoy the property while our room was being prepared. The tapas and snacks worked perfectly for a pool day, and dinner was cooked just right. The friendly staff were great, and breakfast had lots of delicious options too. The photos online don't do the quinta justice. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in the Douro Valley.
