The restaurant alone would make me want to return. The fish was juicy and full of flavor, and the rice with beans and mushrooms is a must-try. I’d rank O Farrobo among the best restaurants in Acores, and among the best I’ve eaten at anywhere. The breakfast has limited choice, but it’s well served, good quality, and worth the room rate. The staff and owners work hard and are very helpful, while guests have plenty of freedom and feel at home. Farrobo is close to the airport, and the houses are comfortable, with local volcanic architecture and clean, high-quality linens. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

The restaurant was the highlight for me. The food and service were outstanding, and they were always smiling and made me feel at home. I’ll definitely come back for another steak. I stayed for a week while scuba diving, and the accommodation worked perfectly for what I needed.

We had a clean, quiet and peaceful place to come back to after climbing Mt. Pico and exploring the island. The accommodation is simple, and it made a perfect base for us. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh baked breads every day. Both hosts were so pleasant and accommodating. We loved our stay at O Farrobo and the incredible hospitality.

When our flight was canceled, they took us in at the last minute and even made dinner after the kitchen had been closed for a long time. The owners are wonderfully genuine and clearly care about making your stay as good as possible. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Thank you for everything!

A lovely family-run restaurant tucked away off the beaten path. The owner was very welcoming, and even the simple dishes were fresh and amazingly delicious, especially the salad and potatoes. The tuna steak and beef steak were the best we’ve had so far in the Azores.
