The pool and spacious patio were lovely places to take in the sunset, and the host was genuinely kind and welcoming. Breakfast was served each morning, with something different each time, and he thoughtfully catered for my husband’s celiac needs. A relaxing choice for couples with a car to explore the beautiful Batalha region.

The bed was the best I’ve slept in at any hotel, and our room was clean with a phenomenal view. We also enjoyed two generous, delicious homemade breakfasts. The host was as pleasant and helpful as could be. I enthusiastically recommend The Olive Hill Guesthouse!

The pool sits up on the hill, with lovely views throughout the day, and there were plenty of loungers and tables for everyone to enjoy the sun. There’s also a grill area on the terrace. Each morning William brought out a different breakfast, from omelettes to pancakes and scrambled eggs, and we loved sitting outside to see what was on offer. Our accommodation was tidy and clean, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. We had a fantastic stay with William and Moniek at the Olive Hill Guesthouse. We highly recommend it and will certainly be back! Warm regards, Marieke & Dawn

The room had an amazing view, and William was great company while we ate the wonderful breakfast he’d prepared. We slept so well during our February stay. It was warm, cozy, welcoming, and beautiful. We’ll definitely come back!

The kids are still talking about the friendly owner, tasty breakfast, and refreshing pool. We had an unforgettable summer break at this charming guesthouse, with a breathtaking view and warm hospitality. Its handy location near amenities made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a memorable family getaway!
