We wouldn’t come back. The welcome was especially unfriendly, with neither of the two women at reception smiling when we checked in. The rooms were clean but very basic, with no tea or coffee facilities. Our view was of a petrol station and a very run-down pool. The gym was tired, with lots of broken machines and a hole in the ceiling. It’s outside town, about a 15-minute walk into Beja.

I love the place and the people are friendly. The gym could use an update, but it’s still much better than a five-star hotel hotel.

We had breakfast included, with a good range of food: toast, different kinds of ham, cheese, bread, fruit and milk. I’m not sure whether there was a vegan option, but the bread, fruit and almond or soy milk were the only things I noticed that would suit vegans. I stayed in a single room the first night, then moved to a double. The double on the third floor was newer and more modern, with a brighter, more spacious bathroom. The hotel is simple but nice enough for a few days. It has two parking areas, one in front and one beside the pool, plus two pools, a small one for children and a larger one.

The room had enough space and a nice balcony, but there was nowhere to dry clothes. In the bathroom, the ceiling panel buzzed each time I opened the door. The hotel is modern but plain, with a shallow pool, and the location is so-so. Fine for a night or two, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

The food was nice, and the staff, though they looked serious, were accommodating. It’s centrally located, near both the town center and the football pitch. The pool and gym were closed due to covid. I think I’ve already written a review for this hotel.
