TURIM Saldanha Hotel

The staff made a great impression. They were attentive to everything I asked for and spoke perfect English, which I really appreciated since I can't speak Portuguese. I requested an early check-in when booking, and though they said they'd do their best, I arrived at 8 a.m. to find a room ready with no extra charge. The room was spacious, modern, and everything seemed new. They provided complimentary water, tea, biscotti, and complete toiletries, including a hair dryer. An iron and ironing board were available on request. The hotel is close to Metro and bus stations, so it's easy to get around Lisbon. Breakfast was a good continental buffet, but it was the same every day. I'd suggest booking it for one day and eating out after that. Highly recommend this TURIM branch :)

I was glad I only booked one night before my flight home. I kept imagining how much of a disaster a longer vacation here could have been. The room was dark, full of mirrors, and short on outlets. The AC didn't work, as so many other reviewers have mentioned. It was around 22 degrees Celsius in mid September, yet the room felt unbearable, and I can't imagine it during a really hot summer day. Showering made it even hotter. The pillows were limp and gave no support. I had to stack them, then asked for another one and was denied. I won't be back.

We stayed four nights, and everything about it was perfect. The room was cozy and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was good.

Nice breakfast, clean room, and festive Halloween decorations on 31 Oct 2025. The hotel is just a stone's throw from Sheraton, and getting an Uber pickup is easy. I'd recommend it.
