The apartment itself is nicely done, but the space doesn't work well for more than two adults. It's really for a couple, or maybe a couple with two small children, despite being listed for six. There's no elevator, so it might suit backpackers better than people with luggage. I found it inconvenient for a larger group of adults.

It's a charming, clean apartment with lovely views and a really nice dressing room. There's one bedroom with a 1.5m bed, plus two 0.90m beds upstairs, though the stairs up to that room are a bit tricky. The central location is great, and the person checking you in is easy to contact. It does get very cold because there's no heating. Also, the stairs at the building entrance up to the fourth floor are narrow and steep, so taking a suitcase up is hard.

We were comfortable on the bed and sofa bed, and the T1 worked well for a family with two children. It seemed in good condition, with a TV and wi-fi, and the kitchen looked usable, though we didn't try it. The location is fantastic, just two minutes from Chiado, with easy metro access and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The check-out time seemed fine, but check-in from 4 pm felt very late. The price was around average, and the kindness and availability of the people I spoke with at City stays Chiado made a big difference. Many thanks, Mafalda and Inês.

Falling asleep under the sky through the upstairs room's ceiling window was such a lovely touch. The apartment is clean and spacious, with free WiFi, and the location is excellent. It's on the fourth floor, so the stairs look a bit daunting at first, though they turned out to be manageable. I'd recommend it.
