The entrance was in a deplorable state, littered with syringes, condoms and semen. My children saw fights and people injecting heroin. There were drug users, homeless people and undocumented immigrants at the entrance. I have nothing against those people, but this was awful. On the second day they moved us to another apartment, and that was even worse, so I had to find a hotel after that. It was a complete rip-off. I booked through eDreams, but they washed their hands of it and took no responsibility. Beware of eDreams!

On the last day, we went out for coffee and couldn't get back into the apartment to collect our bags. The automated access system meant we had to wait for someone to bring a key, but it wasn't sorted out in time. The apartment contact ignored our messages, leaving us without help. We ended up paying extra for Uber and had to reschedule our bus at the port. The cleaning team also showed up around 10:40 a.m., before 11, even though Booking listed checkout as 12:00 p.m., which put us under more unnecessary pressure. There were several homeless people at the end of the street and a very unpleasant smell by the building entrance. The apartment itself was nice and comfortable, and the location was handy, close to everything. But with the access failure, lack of support and all the disruption, I can't recommend staying here.
