The owners are friendly and easy to talk to, and they know the area well. Breakfast was epic, and I’d get up early for that stunning sunrise. It’s a quiet little place, apparently with just 12 rooms, so it feels especially suited to couples. The bed was bigger than ours at home and somehow just as comfortable. Everything was spotless, even thoughtful touches like a beach parasol in the room. You’ll need a car, though some livelier resorts are only a 15-minute drive away. Such a lovely Algarve hideaway, almost makes you want to keep it to yourself.

The views are spectacular, and the rooms and pools were clean and lovely. A really nice place, looked after by a very friendly woman. An equally good breakfast option would have made it an 11/10.

Fernando & Elizabeth are amazing hosts, and the breakfast is amazing too. I always feel relaxed here, almost like it’s a second home. The location is so peaceful, a 10/10 for me. You won’t find this kind of personal, caring service at another hotel or resort in the area. An excellent getaway.

The gardens are lovely, and the location is wonderful. Even out of season, the owner welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness. The accommodation is clearly well looked after. We’ll come back for a proper visit once the season starts.

The surroundings are peaceful and the views are fantastic. We spent a magnificent week here, and the owner was extremely hospitable. The woman who cleaned our room was awesome too. It was a truly blissful stay, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.
