There are six comfortable rooms, five bathrooms, two living rooms, and two kitchens in this lovely rural house, making it great for a few peaceful days with friends. It has beautiful architecture and all the comforts we needed. The views take in Montesinho national park and the city of Bragança, and there are plenty of meat restaurants nearby serving what I think is the best meat in the country. If you're up early, you might even be lucky enough to see cows walk past the door.

The peaceful location makes this a great base for resting and exploring nearby, including Bragança, Aldeia de Onor, and Montesinho Park. Casa Luís Gonzaga in Babe is welcoming, clean, and full of rustic charm, with excellent hospitality.

I've stayed here several times and found it very good. It's a comfortable house with a spacious living room and a great view of the city of Braganca. The typical Trás-os-Montes village sits in Montesinho Natural Park, about 15 km from Bragança, and is ideal for BTT lovers like me. Several dirt tracks start in the village. They're not technical routes, but make for relaxed rides with fabulous scenery and some good climbs. Afterwards, there are several restaurants in the area with excellent regional food. If you like meat, there's nothing better, from bízaro pork to veal posta.

There was no privacy, though everyone was very friendly. I couldn't sleep in the rooms.
