The host made my stay unforgettable. She's the kindest host I've ever met, and I'll recommend Artvilla to anyone visiting Portugal. The villa is beautiful, the pool was wonderful on hot summer days and nights, and it felt like staying in a luxury villa. Best accommodation I've ever had.

The place was very clean, tastefully decorated, and the little water tank gave it a bit of glamour, so in the end I had a good experience. Still, I was a little disappointed with the booking: there wasn't a reception, and I had to call to get in for check-in. There was no hot water in the shower, and the location isn't the easiest to reach.

A quiet, spotless place with friendly, really helpful people. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs, cheeses and meats, cereal, yogurt, fruit, plenty of beautiful jams, plus good bread and biscuits. It's a great base for all sorts of day trips and a nice spot for a relaxing break.

Artvilla sits near the foot of Montejunto mountain, which shields it from Ribatejo's extreme heat and brings in fresh Atlantic air. The area has plenty of hidden gems, making it a good base for sightseeing and cultural outings. It's also a quiet, simple village to escape to from Lisboa and get some rest.
