The area made it easy to get out and explore: restaurants are 5-10 minutes away by car, a charming town is about 10 minutes off, and a beautiful medieval town is 15 minutes away. There’s also a lagoon and a lovely beach around a 20-minute drive away. We’d planned two nights at Casa das Margaridas, but ended up adding three more because we loved it so much. Selina and Fabian made us feel incredibly welcome. They clearly care about their oasis and have made it feel like a home away from home. The flowers, pool, great coffee, and delicious breakfast made it a lovely place to stay, and the views were fantastic. We were thrilled with our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend Casa das Margaridas. Thank you both for such a warm welcome and a perfect end to our wonderful holiday in Portugal.

We stopped for one night at Casa Del Margaridas on our way from Porto to Lisbon. As an Australian couple, it can be hard to find accommodation where we can understand the people at the front desk, so it was a relief to discover Selena and Fabian are Australian too. They’ve thought through the details and made the stay a great experience for people who want to see the sights. This will be my first choice when we’re back in the area. Five out of five, any day of the week!

The big garden has lots of cute animals, and the breakfast was great. Selina and Fabian are real sweethearts who clearly want you to have the best stay possible. Our room was lovely, spacious, and very clean, with a large bed, sofa, table, coffee maker, and even a microwave. Everything felt modern. Such a little paradise.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also loved spending time in the garden and taking in the views. There are lots of beaches along the coast just a short ride away, and Caldas da Rainha is well worth a visit, especially if you’re into museums. It’s a lovely little city. We had a wonderful time at Selina and Fabian’s beautiful place.

I had an amazing time at Casa das Margaridas. Fabian and Selena were kind, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The pool is a great place to spend the day, with a BBQ too, and Caldas da Rainha gives you access to lots of nearby places by car or bus. It’s a beautiful spot for relaxing or exploring different parts of Portugal.
