Príncipe Real Guest House

We stayed for 6 nights and really liked our private bathroom room. It was clean, cozy and stylish, with daily cleaning. The kitchen and patio were nice too, and we got some relaxing time outside. Check-in using the door codes was simple, and Principe Real is a pleasant neighborhood, close enough to everything. Noise was the downside. The guest house is on a busy street, with steady traffic on weekday working hours and weekend evenings. It could get loud, though the windows did a decent job of blocking it. We slept poorly for a different reason: a family in 3 of the 7 rooms behaved as if they owned the place. They were noisy, especially around 6 am, walking around in shoes, taking over the kitchen, banging dishes and cutlery, and yelling to each other. It felt selfish and disrespectful to the other guests. The automated check-in seemed to leave too little authority or social control to stop this kind of behavior.

A clean, cute guesthouse in a great location. The road outside was loud, but the thick windows helped us sleep well.

The neighborhood is well placed, and you can either walk about 20 minutes to the city center or take public transportation. A nice guest house in Lisboa, highly recommended.

I can't recommend it. Noise from the room made sleeping at night difficult. They also said they'd store our backpacks on checkout day, then later told us they couldn't. That felt dishonest.
