It’s quiet and rural, but easy to reach Caldas, the coastal resorts, Obidos, and Alcobaca. Dogs are welcome, though there are cats and a resident dog on the property. The owners are helpful and welcoming, and there’s private parking.

We liked it and will come again. It’s handy for Obidos and around Caldas da Riena. The area is nice, the rooms are nice, and everything is well looked after. People were nice too. There’s secure parking, good breakfasts, and it’s dog friendly.

The homemade breakfast is packed with treats, and the service is five-star. It’s a relaxed, family-style place surrounded by nature, great for anyone with children. A peaceful choice for resting, while still close to the beach and city centre.
