Quinta Terezinha

We had fun feeding the farm animals every morning, and the cats Josefina, Merkel, Gigi and Orange were part of the welcoming crew along with Laura. The owners were always around if we needed anything. There’s even a roughly 30-meter height difference from one end of the farm to the other, so it’s a good place to train for hiking and trail walking. You’ve got everything you need and more, and the location makes it easy to get around the island. I love this place and hope I can return soon. If you visit Madeira for nature, this is the place to stay.

We loved having so many cozy places to relax, and the house was very clean and well equipped for a longer stay. It’s a quiet little farm with breathtaking views, especially nice if you love animals and cats, who are always nearby. With a rental car, it’s a handy starting point for exploring the island. Laura was a wonderful host, sharing useful information and recommendations and answering our questions. I’d love to come back for longer, and highly recommend it.

Arriving at Quinta Terezinha feels like stepping into your own green paradise 🌴. We first visited in April 2021, then came back for New Years Eve, and both times the family made us feel at home. There’s a whole farm to enjoy, with animals, especially our lovely cats, plus different spots to sit back and take in the sea view. The house has what you need, and we were greeted with a lovely welcome package. A big thank you to the whole family. We’ll definitely return! ☺️

The animals make wonderful company, especially the two cats, and the hostess is friendly, helpful, and easy to ask for advice. The house has everything you need, including an outdoor bathtub and a hammock for relaxing. It’s a magical place for unwinding and exploring the island. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to return.
