The pilgrim dinner was delicious, and the hostel had a real sense of community throughout my stay, from the messages beforehand to the welcome at reception. I stayed at Bom Caminha during my Camino in June 2025. It's a charming, clean place, and close to several water taxi options for carrying on with the Camino.

The hosts were so friendly, and the room was very tidy. Out back there's a big garden where you can wash clothes and cool your feet in saltwater, and they serve a great evening meal too. At 20€ per person, it was well worth it for my camino.

Right in the center of Caminha, this hostel has an alternative style and is near the taxi boats for crossing the border. The dorms are cool, including rooms with four beds, and the atmosphere is fun. We had a really nice dinner with pilgrims from around the world. Recommended!

The mattresses and blankets were so comfortable that I slept really well. The dinner is well worth trying, they cook beautifully. They put on Portuguese music for us all evening, then left us to enjoy a huge pot of food. Great albergue.
