The care from Mariana, our host, and the helpful attention from Sra. Fátima made everything run smoothly and pleasantly. We came mainly to relax, and Vila do Campo do Gerês was just right for that. Casa da Cuca is also a great base for discovering the beautiful Gerês region. Be sure to try the delicious, healthy natural honey from the rural property owned by Mariana’s parents. We’ll definitely come back to Casa da Cuca in summer!

The village is tiny and wonderfully relaxing, with trails going off in every direction. The house is cute, and the location is excellent, with gorgeous views. The customer communication could be better. For people from the city, providing only damp wood to get the fire going isn’t enough. Thanks for the lessons 😅
