Monte alto is a special place and one of the best spots to discover in Alentejo. I highly recommend it!

The breakfast was really good, with delicious local products, and the spacious rooms were fantastic. The staff, Maria João, Lara, and Filipa, were so friendly. They followed the Covid rules, which made the whole family feel safe. We loved the place, from the welcoming lounge and lovely pool to the beautiful overall feel. We’d highly recommend it for families or couples, and would definitely come again!

The staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in, and before leaving we were already wanting to return to Monte Alto. Breakfast was great, the scrambled eggs were just right, and the requeijão was out of this world. The pool has an endless view, and we really enjoyed visiting the farm animals and going for bike rides. It’s a charming and comfortable place, simply and elegantly decorated with little details that make all the difference. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to friends and family!
