The host was the best, so friendly and helpful, and really went out of their way to make our stay great. The apartment was spotless and beautiful, with stunning ocean views. It’s near Funchal, though I’d suggest renting a car to get around more easily. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

Kasia made us feel at home right from the start. She was warm and friendly, showed us around, and shared local tips that made our trip more special. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed for a relaxing stay. We had a wonderful time in Madeira and definitely recommend this place.

The property itself was nice, and it was very quiet at night, but I didn’t find the way my feedback was handled professional. The reply on booking.com didn’t reflect the truth, in my view, and seemed to hide mistakes and blame the guests. I travel a lot, had no reason to lie about my stay, and wasn’t travelling alone. I guess they were bitter because I didn’t give a 10. No information said smokers weren’t welcome. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known, and it took a short discussion before smoking on the balcony was “allowed,” which felt a little weird. The internet didn’t work during our stay, even though we could log in, so we had to use LTE. The TV only works if you have Google TV. Construction during our stay left so much rubbish in front of the gate one day that getting out wasn’t easy. The main gate wasn’t working either, so you had to pull it by hand. The awning remote had been taken away and was only handed over when asked, because other guests hadn’t used the awning properly.

We had a great time. The place was new, clean, furnished, and really well organized. The hosts were great and available.
