The views alone make the price feel fair. From the balcony you can see the Atlantic, Cristo Rei, and the cliffs right in front of you. The holiday house is well set up and a great place to stay on Madeira, though a few things could use updating over time. I'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast with that incredible view was such a treat, probably one of the island's best. We even saw dolphins right below one morning, which felt magical. We had a wonderful family holiday here, four of us in this magnificent villa. It's thoughtfully designed for families or a group of friends, and the host is kind and full of helpful tips. There's a pastry shop just a two-minute walk away, yum. Don't hesitate, you'll have a dream holiday.

The terrace gets sun from morning right through to evening, and the house is in a great spot while staying wonderfully quiet. It's fully equipped, and the landlord was very friendly. One thing about the rooms: each double bed has just one duvet, and the pillows are quite flat, so I took off a star for that.

The owners were warm and attentive, always just a phone call away, and offered helpful tips for outings and excursions. The villa has everything for a comfortable stay, including pleasant rooms and a kitchen with a coffee maker, mixer, oven, and microwave. There's also a pool with loungers and a barbecue area. The beach is about 10 minutes away, with a cable car ride down and back up costing 4 euros. Another 10 minutes from the villa is a historic statue of Jesus Christ, with lovely views and a nice area for walks. I recommend it!
