The location and cleanliness were the main positives, but the hotel seems a bit run down and tight on budget. Although breakfast was included in what we paid, it was poor quality, so we ate elsewhere. The staff were friendly and helpful, the gym was decent, and the pool looked nice. The hotel felt clean, but more like a three-star place than a four-star one. Our room had poor ventilation unless we opened the balcony door. The bed was very firm, which suited me, though it probably won’t suit everyone. Shower pressure was low, and it took about five minutes for the water to get properly warm. Conditioner wasn’t provided. Razors, pads, shaving cream, a toothbrush, and toothpaste were available only on request, which felt like a hassle, so we bought what we needed at a nearby shop. For some reason, hotel reviews can’t be posted while using their Wi-Fi. That seems fishy.

The beach Boardwalk is easy to reach, and there are plenty of restaurants just steps away. Everything else about the hotel was top notch, but I had a really hard time sleeping on the bed. It was so uncomfortable and hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. I’ve seen other guests mention the same problem. Better mattresses would make me want to come back, and would earn the hotel that fifth star and a glowing review.

The rooms could use a renovation. Mine was noisy, the bathroom smelled unpleasant, and the ventilation didn’t work. The toilet seat kept coming loose and wasn’t fixed during my six-night stay. The location is excellent, the staff are very friendly, and breakfast is a great buffet.

The pool is too small, and I was surprised to be charged 10€ every time I used the gym. On the plus side, the hotel offers comfortable accommodation at reasonable prices and pleasant service. Its location in town is great too, very close to nice restaurants and the beach.

It’s a good find near the beach, with a great location, tasty breakfast, helpful staff, and the bonus of an adjacent shopping center. The price makes it recommendable, though it doesn’t quite feel like a four-star hotel. The building is starting to show its age. Our AC unit didn’t work, and some rooms smelled of cigarettes despite the hotel being non-smoking.
