We slept well in the cosy beds, and the food was very good. The house itself was comfortable and really lovely, and our host was great.

D. Paula and Sr. António were so warm and helpful. The house was already lovely and warm when we arrived, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a few days exploring the region. We’d happily recommend it.

It seems the place may only operate with advance bookings, since I don’t think anyone is there to receive guests who arrive looking for somewhere to stay overnight. It isn’t continuously open to the public. I can’t really fault anything else.

It felt like being at home. I liked everything about the house: it was nicely decorated and clean, with air conditioning and the other comforts you’d want in a local rental.

A spacious living room, five bedrooms, and an outdoor pool make this a great place to unwind.
