Lovely service, and a sweet granny 👌🏽

Great.

The setting was a big plus: beaches, Carvoeiro and several supermarkets are all close by, and there was private parking for our rental car. We found the room practical and comfortable for sleeping, with a very comfortable bed, huge closets and mirror, and useful microwave, kettle and refrigerator. The shower room was spacious and had good pressure, though the water temperature took some adjusting before it stayed right. There was also a terrace and a pool, but the water felt cold in September. We arrived a little before check-in time. The owner was discreet and her French wasn't very good, but we managed to understand each other. Unexpectedly, she made our beds during two nights. For the price, it was a good, comfortable and practical stay. Just remember the €8 tourist tax for two people for two days, payable on arrival. I'd happily stay again if I get the chance.

The location was handy, with good access and a good price. The pool was nice, the mattress was good, and the internet worked well. Room and bathroom cleanliness need attention. The bedspread and pillows were quite dirty, and the room service was very poor. Some of the dishes in the room were very dirty too, as was the cloth left on top of the refrigerator. Towels were changed every day, but they didn't smell clean.
